The registration period for the Competition Division closed on February 28, 2009 and we are no longer accepting applications.

DEMONSTRATION DIVISION

The Progressive Insurance Automotive X Prize formally closed its Demonstration Division on March 1, 2010. This Division was announced in January 2009 and was intended to showcase high-efficiency vehicles from major established automakers already selling fully-validated four-wheel vehicles in the U.S. or E.U. at quantities greater than 10,000 per year. While initial interest was high, only a limited number of established automakers committed to participating, leaving the Division without its intended breadth of exhibitors.
